Hey dms, thanks for the update and great information! Im actually familiar with this site also and its great to hear it gives good quality music for download! I don't know if you meant what you wrote, but a store bought cd is not in the mp3 format but instead in the wav format. Also, it has a bit rate of 1411 kbps, much higher quality than either 192 or 320 kbps in the mp3 format. However, it is true that compared to many other download sites (including itunes!), 320 kbps is very high quality.

I gave http://www.songs.co.il another try, and it was as easy to use, as www.imusic.co.il. However, the songs are 192 kbps. Thank you for suggesting this web site. Do you know of any other web sites that sell mp3 down loads of israeli music? Both imusic and songs.co.il don't seem to have the very new singles or albums.


In my other reply, when I said a store bought CD had an audio bit rate of 192 kbps, I meant that when I ripped a store bought CD to my computer, it was saved as Windows Media Audio file (.wma) with audio bit rate 192 kbps, and CDs I saved into itunes have an audio bit rate of 128 kbps. I was trying to say, I would rather get the songs from some place other then itunes, because songs you get from itunes, you can only load on to an ipod, but, songs from other stores, such as imusic, songs.co.il, or AMAZON.com mp3 downloads, can be loaded on to an ipod or a non ipod MP3 player, and I think the sound quality is better.

Hmm..im sorry dms i dont know more sites, but of course i will keep my eyes open for you..if i bump into a different online store i will surely post it here. Weird though that they dont have the newest stuff!
