Shiri Maimon stops the silence that came after her Eurovision participation and successful debut album in 2005. She is back with a brand new single.
Most of us know Shiri Maimon from her participation on Kochav Nolad where she became third. Others know her from the Eurovision Song Contest of 2005 where she represented Israel with the song The Silence That Remains. She ended up at the fourth place and got worldwide fame at the same time. Her self-titled debut album released in 2005 became a best-seller, with singles like Small Love and The Silence That Remains. Beside that, Shiri was busy acting and singing on various TV series and musicals. Finally after two years, Shiri releases her brand new single called Better To Forgive. The single is from her upcoming second album in Hebrew that will probably be released the beginning of next year. Shiri has also been working on an album in English with the British producer TJ Cases, which she recorded in London. This album will also be released soon. R&B singer Momy Levy says: "The single, Better To Forgive, doesn't completely represent Shiri's capabilities on her new album. She has soul songs on it that are amazing - Israeli R&B in full glory". Shiri Maimon says about her album: "This album is the result of a long way and an amazing period, for two years I worked on it so much. This is me, from the beginning till the end. I hope the people will love the songs, like I love them. I have been waiting for this moment a long time, I am excited, frightened, happy and proud".
