Shira Knows How To Write!

Image Just before the release of her long awaited debut album the 18-year old Shira Gavrielov, releases her third single called Tell Me Why.

In the past she used to perform under the name Shira G playbacking songs. Now she has released already two singles, from which the second single, The Morning Lightens Up, became a huge hit. On the third single she will be working together with Amit, a member of the hip-hop band Kele 6.

Shira's self-titled debut album will be released at the end of this week. The album contains 11 songs, from which 2 are in English. One of the English songs is a cover from the 1988 Stop by Sam Brown. Eventhough Shira is the daughter of the famous Israeli composer and lyrics writer Miki Gavrielov, she has written and composed all the songs by herself.
The songs from the upcoming album will be performed on her first show in the club Barby in Tel Aviv, on the 28th of July.
