Only 3 weeks after it came out in the shops, Miri Mesika’s second album Goodbye To Beliefs, has reached a gold status.
Miri received a gold album for her latest album, Goodbye To Beliefs, only 3 weeks after coming out to the shops it has sold over 20,000 albums. Her self titled debut album has already received a platinum status. If it will continue this way, it’s better that Miri and her husband Uri Zach start looking for a bigger apartment! To celebrate this occasion, a surprise party was arranged at the Lukas restaurant in Tel-Vviv and attended by her Rimon Art School group. Miri didn’t know anything about the party and thought she was going to a work meeting. She found herself standing and crying once she realized, why everyone had gathered. First arrived Eric Berman, who spent his time at the bar. After that came Tali Oren, who acts with Miri in the play, King Solomon And Shlemey The Kobler. Keren Peles and Itay Perl arrived a bit late and so did Aiya Korem. When Miri invited Eric to receive too a gold album for writing one of the songs on the album, she said: “And now to someone whom I made, well not physically I mean, but I built him”. Also Keren Peles received a gold album for her collection.
