Its official; the band The Gameboys, with the members Adam, Sharon, Oshri, Eran and Avihai, is breaking up. The members are heading their own directions, which are for now unclear.
The Gameboys released their debut album called The Album in 2006. After that they became a popular band in Israel with hit singles like Happiness, Give Me A Reason and I'll Save My Heart. The band even participated ones in the Pre Eurovision Song Contest of Israel, where they received 78 points and ended up at the third place with the song How Much Love. After many delays, the band finally started to record their second album and were planning the release of the first single. But before the band got the chance to finalize and release the second album things were falling apart. One of the band members, so far not clear which one, announced that he no longer wanted to be in the band. Soon after that a second member shared his plans on leaving the group. Some claim that also the delays for the second album were caused by the management of the group that wasn't supportive enough. The manager of the Gameboys said that the band was hardly played on the radio, therefore he saw no further future for the Gameboys.
