Boaz Mauda Ends Up Ninth At ESC |

 Boaz Mauda ends up at the ninth place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, but becomes the number one most favorite participant.
Boaz Mauda had to perform during the first semi final on the 20th of May and became immidiately one of the most popular participants of the Eurovision Song Contest. Together with 9 other countries, Boaz Mauda took Israel to the finals with his beautiful song The Fire In Your Eyes. More and more interviews were taken with the young Boaz and his charming team of background singers. Among his background vocalists were a few members of the band the Gameboys that recently broke up.
Boaz opened the song with his beautiful voice giving everyone goose bumps, or was it his outfit that left us impressed? Perhaps it was the combination of a great voice, his good looks and the beautiful song Dana International, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1998, had written for him.
There were a total of 25 countries that participated in the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest on the 25th of May. There were clearly more countries popular among the viewers. Eventually the top 3 became; Russia on the number one spot with the singer Dima Bilan, on the second place Ukraine and the third place was for Greece. Not everyone takes the Eurovision too serious anymore, because of the voting behaviour, but Israel can be proud of Boaz Mauda that ended up at the ninth place and gained international fame. We are sure that this 'new born star' will go worldwide!
