The Winner: Harel Skaat

The visitors of Kikar Israel have voted massively at our poll to decide who the best Kochav Nolad/ A Star Is Born singer is. With 36.1% of the votes Harel Skaat has won and is selected as the winner!
With 31.9% Ninet Tayeb ended up at the second place and as the biggest competitor for Harel Skaat.

Harel Skaat participated in the second edition of the show Kochav Nolad and ended up at the second place after the winner Harel Moyal (that won the 4th place in our poll with 484 votes). This year Harel Skaat released his self titled debut album which soon reached gold status. Harel his fame is growing everyday and is therefore the winner not only of our poll with a total of 1658 votes, but also in all the charts of Israel.

At the second place of our poll is Ninet Tayeb with a total of 1460 votes. Ninet was the winner of the first edition of Kochav Nolad and has become the biggest female star in Israel at the moment. Every newspaper, magazine or street gossip mention the latest news on Ninet and her music. With the release of her debut album that turned gold in only 24 hours Ninet is now a true Kochav!

The third place is surely worth to mention, where Shiri Maimon ended up with 1041 votes, which is 22,7% of all the votes. Shiri participated with Ninet in the first edition of Kochav Nolad and ended up at the second place. Her self titled debut album that was released in 2005 reached gold status and in the same year she got Israel at the 4th place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Monaco. Shiri makes sure with her beautiful voice that no silence remains.
