Keren Peles Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: At the moment I’m working on material for a new album. I also want to act, maybe in a movie or on TV, and I’m going to write music for a play/show that will be performed in the Cameri theater in Tel Aviv. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: I’m going to travel abroad with Habima (theater), and now we have started performing outside of Tel-Aviv, which for me is like being abroad. Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: On the coming album of Miri Mesika there will be many of my songs and I really hope for interesting things in the acting field. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: Check the answer to the first question. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: I wish myself not to go down, just to keep on climbing, or at least continue the path I’m going on now. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: I want to wish everyone health, as corny as it sounds. When people are healthy they can do and deal with everything.
Itai Shif (from Beit HaBubot) Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: We have planned the release of our second album this coming year. We will also be going on a new and interesting tour, but currently we are working really hard on our upcoming album. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: Currently there are plans to perform at three interesting destinations this coming year, but till its not all fixed and arranged I prefer not to talk about it Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: As I mentioned, currently we are busy and working very hard on our next album, so we don’t have time for doing anything else. Of course as an idea we do not dismiss the possibility of interesting cooperation’s for the future. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: Of course!! Like I said, we are working hard to finalize our upcoming and awaited second disc. We enjoy to work on it and are very excited about the new album and our work together as a producing band. There is no doubt that this year will bring more things that will be really exciting for us. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: We wish ourselves a year filled with music, art, a good connection with the audience and continue being creative. We hope to succeed with our second album and live up to the expectations from us. Also to keep on enjoying in the process of the making and keep on creating as long as there is blood in our veins. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: We wish our audience that they will keep on pleasuring themselves with music. That they wont stop to come to concerts and enjoy each and everyone of them, but most important: that they wont give up on their dreams.
Dudu Tassa Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: Till the age of 25 I never stood at the front of a stage, but slowly I discovered the charm of shows/concerts and the joy of it. The coming year I will focus on concerts with my band members. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: A month ago two companies, one from Germany and one from France, added one of my songs (Fogel Nachal) to well known compilations in Europe. It’s the first time I have been exposed to foreign audience and I hope that because of it I will also go there to perform. Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: This year I wrote together with Adi Goldstein, music for a movie named Kulululsh, which was directed by Natti Adler (acting in it are Alon Abutbul and Yehonatan Rozen). For the music we combined Arab and Western music, which we got really excited about. As a result we opened our own project named D&A and has the European audience as it’s target. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: Last August my fifth album Lola was released, so at the moment there are no plans for a new album. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: It’s very important for me to create music, from any kind, just create. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: I wish everyone a year full of freedom and creation.
Synergia Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: The coming year is going to be a "Synergia Year". We are going to perform endlessly, produce more video clips, write more songs and do as many projects as possible. There is no rest in Synergia and the crowds will be getting a lot from us. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: We would like to perform in the USA. Naturally its the ideal market for us and I’m sure we will do it, its just a matter of timing. Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: What will happen will happen. In the past we have done interesting things, like with Sha’anan Street from Hadag Nahash. We have a million ideas and we like to surprise the audience, but right now we are focusing on Synergia on its own. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: Recently our second album came out and we are at the peak of the energies from it. We are receiving lots of feedback, compliments and really crazy love from the audience. Right now everything is really exciting for us, what we can promise all of you is that there will be a third album. We aren’t going to sit and rest, we still have much more to give to the Israeli audience, wait and see what will come. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: Just to continue the wonderful way we have done so far, and most important is to enjoy the way. This is the best thing that can be wished, that we will enjoy the journey. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: To our audience and the audience of all Israeli music I wish a happy new year, wish you’ll will have a wonderful year, that you will be excited and feel like its the first time, we love you.
Subliminal Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: A new tour of concerts and the release of new albums by Sivan, the Shadow, Itzik Shamly and the entire T.A.C.T. family. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: Yes, but I don’t have all the details yet. Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: Everyone is already aware of the collaborations that that appear on my new album. On the new album of T.A.C.T., that’s suppose to come out, there are some interesting collaborations, like the Shadow with Synergia and Booskills with Tzvika Pik. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: I have no plans for a solo album, because i just released my album Just When You Thought It's All Over. But you can expect albums of everyone at the T.A.C.T. family. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: We hope to have a long tour with our concerts, a fun and a productive one, and of course success with the solo albums of the T.A.C.T. members. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: I wish the Israeli music and the artists lots of success, and that Israeli music should continue to grow and open up to new genres. HaDorbanim For the coming year we have planned a long tour around the country. Like in all our concerts, there are going to be interesting collaborations and surprises also in the coming ones. We already had in the past collaborations with Avi Toledano, Ma Kashur, Danny Sanderson, Shiri Maimon and Efraim Shamir, so you can see that there can always be surprises and it will be worth to come to our concerts. We wish the Israeli music industry that lots of original music will be made, and to our audience keep on loving and staying interested in music and come to the concerts! Din Din Aviv Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: I’m planning to perform with my band all across Israel and abroad, as much as the time will permit and as long as it will be possible. I’ve also started writing songs and collecting material for my next album. I’m taking piano lessons and learning music production on the computer. With the support of the Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation, I’m also leaning African dance and of course raising the greatest creation I’ve made in the world- my son Eden. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: Right now there is some talking about concerts in Australia, but its not yet clear when and where. Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: Its not known yet, and I’m open for suggestions. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: As I mentioned, the preparations are going on and I’m sure it will be followed by a disc. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: I wish myself that I will perform a lot and in front as many people as possible. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: I wish a happy new year, full with creation, renewal, originality to all the music creators and to the Israeli music. I wish a year of courage and openness, self belief and renewal to the audience and to people in general. Kele 6 Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: We are planning to continue the promotion of our newest album. It was delayed because of the war in the summer and now we are pushing it. Next month we are also going to start recording another album and this time just by ourselves in our own studio without anyone else. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: This year we have already started performing, but first we want to conquer the aquarium and only then the ocean. We have already received propositions from France and Canada. but we haven’t done anything with it. Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: On my brothers album, the Shadow from T.A.C.T., I wrote a song that he performs with Synergia, and in my opinion it will be a huge hit. We also work a lot with the excellent singer Moran Gamliel, who participated in the contest a Star Is Born. We also hope to take out this year a song with Muki. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: We just released the album Free To Break Loose and are busy promoting this album. Next month we are starting to record a new disc and this time in our own studio. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: To keep on performing. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: I wish the audience that there will be great music, that many wonderful albums will come out and that I will be able to listen to them and be inspired. Idan Yaniv Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: I have started to take piano lessons. It’s done with a will and wish that in the future I will be able to compose and produce big parts of my future albums. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: In the coming year I’m going to continue performing as much as possible in Israel and there are also some offers from the USA and France, so they are being checked too. Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: There was a request from a very popular singer from Russia that wants us to sing a duet, which will be aimed for the Russian market. Beside that I’m planning to fly and visit Bukhara, where I originally come from. Get in touch with my roots and try to get some new ideas from the ethnical sound and local musical instruments that I would like to incorporate into my next album. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: My first album Thinking Of Her, came out just few months ago and Thank GOD its selling very well. Now I’ve started the race for gathering material for my next album, which I hope will come out in mid 2007. Actually some of the material has already been collected and there are some songs that have already been finalized and from which recently one is released. The album will be a surprise in musical terms and challenging for me as a performer and a creator. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: I wish myself that the momentum I am in wont disappear, and that the coming year will be as good at least as the previous one that has just ended. I wish myself to keep on creating and enjoy making music. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: I wish everyone a good year, a year with a great crop of albums from artists that we all know and I hope that this year also many new and young artists will enter our consciousness, so they will also be able to enjoy the huge love the Israeli audience has for the local music and artists. Personally speaking I will be happy if Amir Benayun will take out another album, because I really love all he does. Sheygetz Q: What are your plans for the coming year? A: We are going to perform all over Israel from the top till the bottom from the north till the south, to promote our new album. Q: Are you planning to perform abroad? A: There were concerts abroad, but for now they weren’t ours.. I know the Arctic Monkeys are really busy and now so are the Stockers. Q: Do you have any interesting collaborations planned? A: Currently there are no collaborations planned, but in matters like this we are very spontaneous so of course one cant tell. Q: Do you have plans for a new album? A: We just released our third album Stop Eating Pies, the album was musically produced by Yuval Shafrir and we are very pleased with it. The album contains 12 songs. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: I Hope this album will relate and talk to many people, and I hope that we will keep on performing wherever its possible. Q: What do you wish yourself for the new year? A: In music terms, which is the most important term for us, I wish us another successful and creative year like we just had. At the end of the line its just about 4 people playing music in a room and when it clicks and works, then everything works. Q: What do you wish your public for the new year? A: I wish the Israeli music a happy year, I wish that it will be full with many rock bands, hard biting and cool guitars.
