Ethnix and Eyal Golan came all the way to the Netherlands, Amsterdam, to give a great performance. They have worked together for years and helped each other on their albums. After a tour through the United States, we were happy to see them arrive in Amsterdam to give a great performance.
The concert was a benefit concert for the organization Larger Than Life, which has the goal to improve the lives of children with cancer by, for example, organizing trips to special places like Disney Land. The concert also started with one of the youngsters sharing her appreciation for the help that the benefit concert provided.
After some singing by various artists and some more talking finally, an hour after the official time, the main stars entered the stage. Although the fans started screaming and the excitement was rising, the first two songs were slow and the performance close to being boring. Then the songs started which made the women, even though requested to stay at their seats, jump up, run to the stage, start dancing wild and sing along with all the hit songs of Ethnix and Eyal Golan.
After a short performance together, Eyal Golan took over the stage and performed his classic hits. Eyal had girls, and even one man, climbing on stage that tried to approach, touch and hug Eyal Golan. They tried, but it was only a try, cause as soon as they entered the stage the big security people came to interfere.
The performance by Eyal Golan was clearly what everyone was waiting for. Singing along and dancing on songs like Malkat Hayofi and Yafa Sheli, Eyal managed to steel the hearts of the audience, and mainly the women! A break arrived for Eyal and Ethnix took over again. Their performance was much different from that by Eyal. In comparison to Eyal that was just singing his songs, Ethnix took over the stage with a powerful performance. They let everyone hear how experienced and talented they are. With a mixture of rock, house and oriental melodies, they made sure no one would be able to fall asleep! With their classics like the song Jessica, the audience again couldn’t stop singing along.
Ending a two hour performance together again, Ethnix and Eyal Golan sang their latest hits. With small flags of Israel thrown in to the audience, people were waving their flags from side to side on the new hit by Eyal called If There Is A Heaven. Ending the evening with an after party, people were clearly full of excitement from the performance and continued the party with great music and of course food. Others left the building with the flags in their hands, still singing the songs from Eyal and Ethnix and running to the car to quickly put on an album to get back in the spirit!
