They do a pretty good job of giving it an eastern flavor. Kobi Oz does have a solo album out that is much more serious, it's pretty good.

Well I don't think there is a video for it; it's Tipex and Sarit Hadad together. I'll see if I can find a link for the song.

It's difficult to say which is the best version of Israeli's national anthem of the ones listed because the sound mix is so poor in some of the videos. For example, the bands overpower both Shiri Maimon and Harel Skaat. This is a problem with the sound system, not the singers.

You are right for sure! But i do think you can hear a difference in the voices, for example you can hear the power and pureness of shiri, while ninet you hardly hear and indeed the band is to loud. Also Zehava gives it a nice personal touch with her mizrahi style of singing. But indeed the quality isnt great, its afterall a full stadion with people trying to sing along
