Hello All,

Anyone know some good online listings for Israeli live music events. Preferably for venues in the Tel-Aviv area. I am due to visit in August and would love to see some good Israeli artists.

I've seen some other threads that mentioned concert listings. I didn't have much success for August but I guess if I keep plugging away closer to August I might get lucky. It looks like clubs and pubs are the main venues, but an open air concert would be nice.

You are right..its a bit to soon to see what concerts will take place in August and sometimes its better to just ask around in Israel to find out which free open air concerts will take place that month. If you are staying in Tel Aviv you can also find the Tel Aviv TimeOut magazine near the beach, which you can take for free and will be able to find everything on concerts, shows etc. I believe you can check this magazine also online..but i will have to search up the link for you.
Ones the dates and concerts of august are known they are added on this site, but for now its still focused on July. I did see that the club Goldstar Zappa has a list of artists that also perform in august. If you know how to read hebrew i would suggest you check their site: http://www.zappa-club.co.il/
This is a popular club where also the most popular artists come to perform..and soooo its rather expensive to get tickets, but if you have a specific artist you like than i guess its worth it!

Thanks for the quick reply. I've had a look at the Zappa Club and there are some good concerts on when I'm there in August. I'll also have a look at the TimeOut magazine when I'm there. I really appreciate your help. It looks like I will be spoilt for choice!!

I don't think there is A website that includes all the venues and open air music concerts all over Israel (I am in Israel and I can tell you that technically it is complicated).
Nevertheless, during summer months in almost each and every City or Town in Israel there are plenty of concerts (just last week there were nice free open air concerts in Tel-Aviv and several other towns), the best idea is to do what Chosen suggested previously in this thread, in the City you will be visiting check out the local news papers, billboards, ask the locals, this is the best to get the relevant info of the upcoming shows.
If you have family members/friends in other Cities/Towns that you wont be staying at, ask them to check for you this way you will even be able to plan ahead.
