Hi friends of Israeli music,

I am a great friend of Harel Skaat but I don't know anything about him because I cannot speak Ivrit. Can you tell me if there are plans for selling a new album? Will there be another album or is his career finished?

Hi Schockstarre,
It is very nice you like Harel Skaat's music, he is really A talented singer.
Currently he has A problem with his record label "Hed Artzi", they took him to court and even won the case against him.

He was accused by them for wanting to leave their label before the end of the contract, as he was obligated to release under them 3 albums, and so far he has taken out only one.
Harel claimed (with proof) that he had signed A contract for 3 albums but also for 3 years and the 3 years have expired as he signed with them back in 2005.

He had already prepaired songs that were suppose to appear on his 2nd album and was planning to start recording in A studio during the upcoming weeks, but because the court has ruled against Skaat the recordings will be postponed until things will be clarified.

Harel himself said that he is in shock but hopes this mess will clear up soon so he can go back to do what he likes to do the most, music ofcourse.
