The Idan Raichel Project Concert

On the evening of 22 May there was an exclusive concert of The Idan Raichel Project at the club Melkweg in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Even though the show was a bit delayed due to technical issues, it was surely worth waiting! The mysterious Idan Raichel entered the stage with a great team of musicians playing on the most beautiful shiny instruments. All of them got a solo moment to shine with their own instrumental skills during the show. Overall it were the three singers, among them Cabra Casy of Ethiopian origin, that stole the show with their vocal skills and great appearance. We can easily conclude that The Idan Raichel Project is one of the best music projects in the world, with different musical influences supported by the various instruments and the diversity of the singers.

A funny detail that was mentioned by two hosts before the concert started, was that during the concert a lot of live recording would take place. So for all you Idan Raichel lovers, I guess we should keep our eyes open for a live DVD in the near future!
