Biography

The band Synergia was formally formed over 3.5 years ago at the beginning of 2003, although some of the band members knew each another since childhood. Ron and Roei knew each another since they were in school and loved music since then. During the high school period, after school hours, they were the house band of the club Blue Cat for 6 years. Later in their career they decided they want to form a band. The first band member they added was Iron. After Iron joined they knew that this is what they want to do with their future. Although they had different carriers they started gathering more members for their band and collecting material they can perform with.

Their debut album came out in January 2005. It was named Shouting About Love and was mostly based on material they gathered from a much earlier period, when the main band members were in their early 20s. The album didn’t get any attention from the media, and later they added to it a very famous song they covered. It was the big hit of Shlomo Artzi from the late 80’s called July August Heat. The band made a rock version of it, as a rock band, and the album started to get attention. Eventually this song and the album itself became popular in the charts. The album had a couple of more hits that were played a lot on the radio stations after becoming famous, like Shouting About Love which was also the albums name and Continuing To Run.

After this album had success the band felt that they have to take out an album that will also reflect their current musical flavor. The success of their debut album took them by surprise and gave them energy to work on their own fresh material for their next album.

After gathering more fans all over Israel and performing in the most desirable and popular clubs all over the country, they started working on their second album which was named Feel Different. The album which came out in August 2006, and includes 13 songs, describes the changes that have passed on the band members since they became older and got popular as a band. The first single from it which is named as the album has currently lots of success in the charts and it’s being played a lot on the radio stations.

Recently the band is performing all over Israel with the songs from the 2 albums they have released. They hope to become the most popular band in Israel and later on check the American music market. The band members feel they have the American music style.

The name Synergia was also chosen by chance. They wrote down on notes all the suggestions of names for the band they had and put it in a Cup/Glass. A female friend of one of the band members drew out this name, a name which now they are very glad was chosen.
