Biography

Kobi Peretz was born on the 28th of October 1975 in Tel-Aviv. His family is from Morrocan origin. Kobi comes from a big family, he is the youngest of 10 brothers and sister. He started his professional musical career at the age of 16, being encouraged by his father who was a well known singer in Morocco.

He took out his first album in 1992 and since then he has taken out 7 more albums the most recent in this year. His first 4 albums were in a Turkish melody style which included many songs with slow and sad melodies.
Kobi started to get some recognition and became more known with his 5th album that came out in 2001, called I Live The Way I Want. On this album he worked together on songs with famous stars like Sarit Hadad.

Kobi his ultimate breakthrough into the Israeli music scene came in 2003 with his most famous album so far, called Confuse Him. The title of the album was also the title of his biggest hit so far. Confuse Him became a massive hit and remained on the number one spot of the Israeli charts for a long time. It was even the most requested ringtone for the year 2003 in all of Israel.

His next album came out the folowing year in 2004, it was called Crazy About You. His popularity continues and the album reached a Gold Album status in no time. He recently released his latest album that is called All That's In Me (2006).

Kobi says about himself that at his spare time he likes to buy nice clothes, and mostly work out in the gym. He also admires Sarit Hadad, that has written and composed several songs for him.
