Ninet Tayeb

Biography

Ninet Tayeb was born on the 21st of October 1983 in Kiryat Gat, Israel. Ninet tells about herself that she remembers herself singing since she was a very small girl. At the age of 6 she sang at the Brita of her newly born sister, later on she use to perform and sing at school ceremonies and parties.

At the age of 17 Ninet participated at a singing contest of the Educational Tv Channel and won the contest with the song Its Not Real.

When Ninet was a soldier in the IDF she was encouraged by family members to go and trial for the Tv show A Star Is Born (Kochav Nolad). She went and passed the auditions and entered the contest. At the contest itself Ninet gave dazzling performances and captivated the viewers and won almost 50% of all the votes leaving all her competitors far behind. As a result she won the contest in August 2003.

In November 2003 Ninet took out her first single called Like When A Song Touches You. The song had moderate success and it was performed at the Tv Award Show The Golden Screen. In 2004 Ninet performed the theme song for the movie End Of The World Left. The song had the same title and was played a lot on the radio stations.

After having success and becoming popular, Ninet had lots of demand and decided to act in a Soap Opera called Our Song. The show was a hit and even won the award of The Golden Screen, in its category. She continued performing in the soap for a second season and after that she left.

Currently Ninet is working with Aviv Geffen on her first album, an album that’s been waited and expected for a lot. Since she started her professional musical career she has taken out 4 singles but no album.

Although no album of Ninet has been released, currently (June/July 2006) she is the most popular singer in Israel with the biggest fan clubs.

Ninet is also a couple with Yehuda Levi, who is one of the most famous male models In Israel and also a famous soap actor. He is known as a celebrity that appears a lot in tabloids and magazines.

In 2006 Ninet released her debut album called Barefoot. Within 24 hours the album turned gold and not to lonf after that it became platinum. The first single from this album is called When You're Here and took over all the radio stations and became a huge hit. Her second single called She Knows again managed to top all the charts. Ninet became and still is the center of all the gossip magazines, where they discuss her changed looks.
