Teapacks released their last album in 2003 which was a collection of all their hits. The album became a bestseller. After almost 3 years it was about time to see a new album of them coming out. The album Radio Music Hebrew contains 14 songs.
Putting the album in the player the Music right away explodes out of your speakers, just the way we like it. Teapacks starts with a soulful sound and the singer has a nice warm sound.
The song First Love is a ballad together with a female singer. A bit to much screaming sometimes, but beside that a song you don’t expect on a up tempo album. So it was nice for a change to have a slower melody on it. The following song called The Shaul Cusbara Ballad soon changes the album sound again with it’s rock sounds.
The album doesn’t have only rock songs, but also many songs where soft rock is combined with oriental sounds. Together with the Teapacks vocal singers, I have to say that these are my favorite songs on the album. 10
The song Ochar Simcha is hard to classify in a genre. On one hand it has a bit of rock, but the same guitar also gives it an oriental sound. And beside that MC Shiri brings some rap to it. A nice combination and a fun song to listen to.
Overall Teapacks has released a good album with a variation of songs that can keep the listeners excited. It might not have reached the bestselling status yet, but I have a feeling it won’t take much longer for their newest album to have a lot of success.
