Putting the album on I wasn’t sure if I put on the album of St. German – Tourists by mistake. Nope, these instrumental sounds with a lounge vibe came from my new Hadag Nahash album. The first song called Lotus was not what I expected, as I’m not really familiar with Hadag Nahash their Music. Of course within a second I turned the volume up as high as possible!
The album has mostly up tempo songs and each of them has their own great beats and melody. Also on this album sometimes they use instruments to give some mizrahi flavor to songs.
Sometimes the singing and rhyming seem funny but they actually match the music perfectly. This style also shows the character of the band and distinguishes them from all other bands in Israel.
I can discuss every song in this review but not one song is similar to the other. Everytime the melody and the style of rapping or singing is different. Most of the songs stand out because of the instrumental skills of the band. All their talents together make Hadag Nahash a great band and instead of you reading this review I advise you to buy this album and play it non-stop!
